Hope on Wheels: 12 Camps, 5 Locations, 200 Stories of Care

A moving journey of street-side healing and human connection across Dhaka

This month, Hope on Wheels — our mobile health initiative — reached a heartfelt milestone.

Over the course of 12 health camps across 5 locations in Dhaka, we’ve reached more than 200 street-connected children, providing free medical checkups, basic treatment, medicines, and health awareness sessions.

These camps aren’t just about treatment — they are about trust.
Each visit is a reminder that compassion can travel on wheels, and dignity can arrive quietly, wrapped in care and listening.

Organized by Global Street Connect, in collaboration with Aso Socheton Hoi – ESHOI and LEEDOHope on Wheels brings healthcare to where it’s often most absent — the streets, rail stations, and riverbanks where children live and work.

From Kamalapur Railway Station to Sadarghat, from Wari to Kawran Bazar, and through other corners of Dhaka, every stop adds another chapter to a growing story — one of resilience, humanity, and healing.

Our volunteer doctors and field teams continue to stand beside these children, not only as caregivers but as companions in their journey toward better health and belonging.

We thank all our collaborators, volunteers, and supporters who’ve kept these wheels turning with unwavering heart. Together, we continue to roll out care, dignity, and hope — one child, one street at a time.
