Workplace stress can affect anyone. Deadlines, heavy workloads, organisational changes, and the pressure to constantly perform can leave us feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, distracted, and emotionally drained. Over time, stress can impact our wellbeing, confidence, productivity, and work–life balance.

If this sounds familiar, this workshop is for you.

About the Workshop

Start Living, Stop Stressing at Work is a practical, three-hour introductory workshop designed to help working adults better understand stress and learn effective ways to manage it.

Built on guidance and resources from the International Stress Management Association (ISMA UK), the UK’s leading professional body for stress management and workplace wellbeing, this session focuses on early awareness, prevention, and healthy coping strategies.

Delivered live and interactively on Microsoft Teams, the workshop combines evidence-informed learning with practical exercises that participants can apply immediately in their professional lives.

  • What stress is and how it affects the body and mind
  • Common workplace stressors and early warning signs
  • Practical techniques for managing pressure and reducing stress
  • Strategies for building resilience and maintaining wellbeing
  • Developing a personalised workplace stress action plan

By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with greater awareness, practical tools, and a clearer plan for managing workplace stress more effectively.
